80 Tractor Units and a Modern LNG Refueling Station
Epo-Trans Logistic S.A. has decided to purchase modern tractor units powered by liquefied natural gas, offering a range of up to 1,400 kilometers. The new LNG trucks will operate routes across Europe and Scandinavia.
LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) is natural gas in liquid form—clear, colorless, non-toxic, and non-corrosive—obtained by cooling it to -160°C.
As a fuel, LNG is more environmentally friendly than traditional petroleum-based fuels. The advantages of LNG include reduced emissions of particulate matter, nitrogen oxides (NOx), and CO2, as well as low noise levels. Emission values for particulate matter and NOx are significantly lower than Euro VI standards. The “silent” LNG engine technology facilitates deliveries outside of standard operating hours.
Epo-Trans Logistic S.A. operates a modern LNG refueling station at the site of its new transport base: EPO LNG A4 LSSE, Krzywa Area, TIR Parking, Krzywa, Gromadka.
Benefits of LNG:
- Reduction of pollutant emissions.
- Quieter vehicle operation.
- Increased operational safety.
- Lower vehicle operating costs.
